Job Description
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Β  Β  Β  educational standards.
  • Educate students in a variety of subjects, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Manage classroom dynamics, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and administration to enhance curriculum development and educational strategies.
  • Participate in budgeting processes to allocate resources effectively for educational programs.
  • Engage in strategic planning initiatives to improve educational outcomes and student success.
  • Provide leadership within the school community, mentoring new educators, and supporting staff development.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for diverse learners.
  • Create an inclusive, respectful, and curiosity-driven classroom environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning styles and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and administrators to strengthen curriculum and instruction.
  • Participate in school-wide planning, strategic initiatives, and program improvement.
  • Support budgeting and resource planning for educational programs.
  • Provide leadership by mentoring staff and supporting professional growth.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
Qualifications
  • Required: NYS Teaching Certification in Early Childhood (Birth–2nd) or (1st–6th Grade). Applicants without this certification will not be considered.
  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • Experience in educational leadership, administration, or higher education teaching strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and support students and staff.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, including experience with budgeting and resource management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working effectively with families, staff, and community partners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and current best practices in education.
  • Minimum Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
  • Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
