Teacher Aide

A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy is currently seeking Full and Part-time Teacher Aides and 1:1 Aides around the Capital Region including Rotterdam; Troy and Albany. This is a year round position working Monday-Friday. If you are experienced in childcare, reliable, patient and flexible we would love to have you join our team of educators. Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: Ensuring the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards. Helping to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized. Helping create an environment where children develop and learn to be successful in school. 

Requirements: A High School diploma or GED. Experience working in a licensed childcare facility or Coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred.

Unity House is a Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting and struggling.
