A Child’s Place at Unity House has a full-time teaching position available for our Universal Pre K Program at our Albany Location.  

• NYS Certified in Early Childhood Education (birth –Grade 2) Preferred
• Minimum of Associates Degree in Early Childhood education or a related field with a written plan for certification considered.
• Lead classroom teacher for integrated UPK classroom and our UPK only classroom.
• Implement lesson plans and activities for the classroom.
• As the lead teacher, work collaboratively with Special Education Teacher and classroom aides.
• Work collaboratively with the Albany City School District in implementing curriculum aligned with New York State Learning Standards. 
• Valid NYS driver license and acceptable driving record in accordance with our company’s liability insurance.
