• Responsibilities  include:

     Creating and implementing lesson plans

      Maintaining a clean and safe environment
      Encouraging independence
      Supervising children

•     Assisting with daily needs of the children such as diaper changing, potty training, and feeding lunch and snacks

• Communicating on a daily basis with parents and co workers
• Working together with an Assistant Teacher to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Managing a classroom using appropriate behavior techniques

Skills Needed as a Lead Preschool Teacher include:

• Ability to Multitask

• Classroom Management

• Creativity
• Communication

Qualifications / requirements of the Teacher

• High School Diploma or in Progress
• Associates Degree, CDA, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field

• Childcare and/or Babysitting Experience
