Daycare located in Morris Park Ave is in search of qualified teachers for Infant toddler and preschool program. All candidates must have a degree in early childhood education from an accredited college or university or can be on a study plan.

Looking for a candidate who loves children, is patient, a self- starter, responsible, creative, high energy, positive, motivated with good organizational and communication skills. Fast pace and high engage activities and knowledgeable with social - emotional Development towards young preschoolers.

This full time position 8-5 or 9-6 Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Lesson plan writing. Develop and maintain program curriculum, themes and units.
  • Implanting Circle Time
  • Teacher phonic and numbers to children
  • Conducting toddler science experiments and creating interesting art projects
  • Extra Curriculum teaching
  • Teaching children ages 0-1 and 2-4
  • Parental Communication and Involvement
  • Demonstrate Knowledge of NYS learning standards through the development and implementation of weekly lesson plan

Qualifications:

  • Degree in early childhood education or related field required.
  • NY State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education (OR in process). Teachers on study plan are welcomed. (NYS B-2)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a group teacher in a program for children ages 0-1 and 2-4
  • Preferred certifications in CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, Mandated Reporter and Food Handling (a plus)

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
