Special Education Teacher

Description:

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher for one of our integrated preschool program starting in September 2023. We are also open to begin sooner.

NYS Initial Certification for Students with Disabilities 0 – Grade 2 required or working towards it. Mentorship available and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Successful applicant will need to have skills to create an innovative and motivating environment for young children, experience, excellent classroom management skills, and knowledge of evidence based practices in the field. Teacher must be able to implement multiple IEPs including monitoring, and reporting progress. Position also requires strong behavior management skills, the ability to work with adults and excellent communication and managerial skills.

Salary is based on qualifications and experience and is associated with benefits.
