This is a pre-k lead teacher position working with children ages three to five.

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the education director, the lead teacher's responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of children by providing a clean and healthy environment.
• Providing a warm, nurturing environment that is conducive to learning.
• Screening children for potential developmental delays.
• Implementing the Creative Curriculum and Ongoing Assessment System
• Planning curriculum that ensures children meet school readiness goals.
• Observing and documenting children's actions and language as part of ongoing assessment.
• Planning and individualizing for children with IEPs.
• Analyzing child outcomes three times a year and creating improvement plans.
• Communicating with parents, guardians and caregivers on a daily basis.
• Participating in ongoing professional development
